Ian Stuart R.I.P.

Today is the 16th Anniversary singe the tragic death of our leader and mental inspirer. Farewell Ian, you spirit will live forever because only the forgotten are dead!!! R.I.P.!!!

Brief report from the English ISD Memorial gig

19th September 2009

We arrived only to the second (main) day of this famous event around 3PM. It was not so easy to find the place of the gig, becouse it was in the agricultural area of Rushden close to Northampton. After we payed the 15 pounds for the ticket we were allowed to drive in the large territory behind the pub-house. There was a big event-tent and a place for parking and camping-area as well. Everything looked well organised. The weather was kind to us it was just cloudy there without any rain.

During our first hour we looked around the territory and of course speaking a little bit with friends all across Europe. The conversions become too long with our friends than we entered into the tent when the SNIPER from Finland started to checking the sounds. Inside the tent there were many seller-stands as well, it was good to look around till the begining of Sniper. It was very nice to see this band live after listening their albums so much. We could hear their best songs.

The next memorable band was for me the the Bully Boys. They played excellent with their original guitarist Big Ed. The crowd liked their music very much. I was able to watch the Blackout as well, and they did excellent show, their songs were make the crowd to move a lot, and so on :)

The Brutal Attack made an outstanding gig, the people were all dancing, shouting etc. They were the highlight of this night. After them the White Law played, and at the end of the gig there was around two minutes of silence for the memory of Ian Stuart Donaldson. I wasnt able to get the exact numbers of the attenders, but I think at least 400 people were there or little bit more.

It was a little bit surprise than most of the people were older than 30. Maybe becouse most of the english bands are playing variations of RAC music and this is not so catchy for the younger generation of NS youth of today.

PC records interview

PC records need no introduction. This is the biggest and most active label in Germany. It was originally started around 2000 year, but after some changes “kamerad” Yves became the owner and the main person behind the label and the distro. While other labels are producing just a 2-3 cd’s per year Yves and the team behind the label is doing this just for few weeks time!!! The owner of the label was kind to answer the questions of Revolt NS web zine.

How your normal working day is passing? Please tell us details about the label, the shop and your everyday work.

Starting a little bit later than most of other working people at 8 or 9 with first Post Office visit. Than open the shop, start replying the Mails and working all the orders of the people. Also finally some guys in shop want something ;-) Shop is closed 18.00 and than second time to post office....and that day by day.

Do you often have problems with the authorities, and what is the legal base for their prosecuting when your label is according by the law and you even pay VAT tax?

I had more than 10 raids the last years including the full observation. But nothing big happen till now. I wait for most of trails. I had normal company here, so all is official and I pay tax and all other stuff, which other companies had to do. Most of the stuff I sell is looked by some lawyers also.

Many of PC records cd’s are forbidden by the German state, why is this happening when as far as I know you are using a lawyer who checks the contents of the albums for politically incorrect lyrics?

Yes, but there are 2 styles of that. Most of my CDs are „indiziert“, that’s Censorship for Youth. So I cant sell it official, so mostly the selling is stopped so totally. The second thing is, that the CDs are complete forbidden, which I can go to jail for. That’s the thing, I wait for trials and see what will happen than. I had good lawyers and of course, checked all before. For the „indiziert“ CDs I cant go to jail, just the selling is stopped, which brings many costs with it...

Do you think that the music our scene produce can recruit people for the movement or it’s mostly to entertain people who are already converted into politics?

50/50 i think. Ask yourself, why German government had so much fear because of a so called „Schoolyard“ CD... Not because it’s just „bad crap Nazi music“, no it’s Propaganda and can get people into thinking. But some music also is only stuff for the scene, I think that’s OK. It should not become just this, that’s the important thing in my eyes. Politics and our message are the main thing!

Please tell us some details around one of your latest productions – Gigi und die Braunen stadtmusikanten – Braun ist triumpfand the idea of front cover?

It was build by the layouter. They managed all with the band, I had nothing to do with that, but like that also, haha..

How many copies of a cd you normally press?

Since a few months now only 6-800 copies, cause most of the people download the music... sad but true. Finally one day, they will see what will happen, when no one can finance music....

What do you thing about the crowing hate core scene in Germany and in contrary about the classical skinhead RAC scene which numbers are getting smaller?

No, it just looks so, for people from abroad. The RAC Scene is still the biggest and the HC just in some areas is big. But not mainly everywhere. I listen booth styles, and be mainly a political activist, than member of a subculture.

Your label have just published second book of Mark Green dedicated to ISD and Skrewdriver. What could you tell us about those books and their author? When the English version of “Ian Stuart Donaldson - Rock'n Roll Patriot" will be available?

No plans or dates for that now, cause first I had to get costs in ;-)

Cd’s produced of your label are one of the must downloaded in the net. What do you think about the free mp3 downloading of music from our underground scene?

If people download forbidden stuff, or sold out stuff, absolutely no problem.... but if they upload and download new CDs, they are just wankers for me.... They will see in years, what they had done with that. But I think the most of that people will not be there than....out of scene!

Which are the biggest festivals of patriotic music in Germany and did your label helps out for the organizing of those events?

Rock for Germany (Gera – 5500 people this year!), DS Presse Fest, Fest der Völker & Sachsentag I think. All organized by the NPD. I help a few people there. Good actions I think.

Are there any labels you don’t cooperate with and why?

V7 & H8store / Totenkopfversand – capitalists and ripp offers....

A PC record is based in the city of Chemnitz, which was part of ex DDR under the name of Karl Marx statt. Twenty years after the reunification of Germany, are there still differences between East and West part of the country?

Yes, but who cares....we are one folk, that’s it. Nothing we cant change over the years.

What is your personal opinion about the problems between German and Polish nationalist? Do you think about a possible end of this conflict in nearest future?

I personal had no problem, but finally 85% of the scene has. I think there will be no changes, every one think the other is crap and will still think that in 200 years, when the Muslims or others are Masters of Europe. Thanks for that...

Have you ever been to Eastern Europe? What is your opinion on the scene in this part of Europe?

Many times, and still interest to see more. I had many friends over there and soon we will meet more and more and more... ;-) I really like the folks etc. Most of the people are not so west European influenced which make them much warmer to each other. More comradeship and being there for each other. That’s sadly missed here...

Your final words…what you will like to say to the readers of our web zine?

Thanks a lot for the interest in me and my label. Hope to see you soon somewhere!

Europe awake!

Thanks for the interview, all best wishes to you and your great label!!!

In Review: Fehér Törvény

Name: Fehér Törvény - Szemben a világgal
Label: BHS Service
Style: HC/Metalcore
Tracks: 13 + 1

This cd has been long awaited. Four years after their debut cd, and tons of splits and samplers finally Budapest’s finest HC squad produced a new album. For the last few years band successfully moved from harder RAC to hate core style. To be honest this music is not my “cup of tea” but “Szemben a világgal” is really top class and very well worked album. Music is not the typical boring HC, but has some metal influences, melodic played solos and extremely good drumming. I have only one advice: “Maci "haver", it’s time to start to sing in English so you can reach listeners worldwide”. In addition there is great design of the booklet, including all lyrics and many photos (some of them from their unforgettable gig in Bulgaria) and also a bonus song on track 88. For all interested, you can order this awesome cd from: bhsservice@freemail.hu

Scene news

NADSAT productions released an EP vinyl of the Russian band Antisystem titled “We are the Rus”. Record contains two songs and it’s limited to 500 copies with two different artworks. Order from: http://www.productions.nadsat-magazine.com/

Since their first CD, "Out of control" achieved great success, the band I.C.1 will be heading back into the studio very soon to begin work on their second album. They are also planning on playing a few gigs along the way. But not to fear, the continuing work on the I.C.1 project won't stop the lads from also getting future releases out for their other bands - Razors Edge from the UK and Carpe Diem from Germany. 2010 is officially Razors Edge's 20th year of being together, so Andy & co. have a lot in store for their supporters in celebration for their anniversary.

German PC records are planning to publish a second book from Mark Green dedicated to ISD under the title Ian Stuart Donaldson - Rock'n Roll Patriot". Like the first one called “Memories” this one will contain a lot of interviews, rare photos and reports from Skrewdriver era. First edition of the book will be in German language only.

STATO ASOCIALE's debut album "Grezzo, stupido & cattivo" will be released on Barracuda Records this September. 13 tracks of nationalist Oi!, including 2 covers of Peggior Amico and English Rose. Band’s myspace: http://www.myspace.com/statoasociale

Chicago's BREW AND HONOUR fanzine is in the works to produce a new issue but is falling behind to a lack of material and support. If you have any contributions such as interviews, scene news, artwork, record reviews, articles, etc - shoot Eric Scott the main editor an email at brewandhonour@gmail.com.

Volksfront OSC Croatia ballad night

21/22 August Croatia

After big preparations and problems we managed to organize first Volksfront event in Croatia. The place of the gig took place near Rijeka deep in woods. On the day of the gig there were some false informations circulating that event will be canceled and police will come but we didnt have any problems with police and event was held successfully.

Event started on friday, when we had small private party with about 20 comrades from Slovenia, Austria and Spain. On saturday evening „real thing“ started first gig in Croatia after 3 years!
Ballad preformer from Austria played covers from Landser, Lunikoff, Skrewdriver, Andre Luders, Radikahl. After his set, one girl from Vienna took guitar and show what she knows, and she sounded very good. The real fun was when guys from Croatia took mic in their hands and start singing, their voices were terrible, but they do it with heart so we forgive them :)

At gig was about 50 people from Slovenia, Hungary, Austria, Spain and Croatia.Special thanks to our friends and comrades from Volksfront Spain, Blood&Honour Slovenia, Headhunters Domzale (Slovenia) and our friends from Rijeka (you know who you are).

Sons of Europe gig report

For a third year in a row Hungary was a host of “Sons of Europe” – one of the biggest festivals for WP music worldwide. A record number of bands were on the gig flayer so I was looking forward to visit this gig and the beautiful city of Budapest. My journey started in the very early hours of Friday, 28 August from the Sofia Airport with a one hour direct flight to Budapest. My Magyar hosts were waiting for me there so after a short rest in a comrade’s house we went downtown to meet other people from all across Europe, who were already in Budapest. After a lunch break, our very international crew of people (Bulgaria, Russia, Croatia, Spain, France and of course Hungary) went for a sightseeing the heart of Pest. Despite the hot weather we were glad to see the Parliament, The white bridge across Danube, and tons of other monuments. At the beginning of the evening we were invited to attend a small private gig, which took place in a pub near by city centre. The gig should “warm us” for the festival next day, the bands which played (Feher Torveny, Voice of Justice and Utolsó Védvonal) did their very best. My attention was hold by the last band (the name in English means Last Defending Line) with their harder RAC (with some metal/HC influence) will become one of the top bands in the huge local scene very soon. After their performance guys from the “special guest” band Kolovrat did some songs, lately joined by me on vocals, but my voice was fucked up of the many beers I’ve drank, so it was totally shit performance, thanks God all the audience were drunken so nobody (I hope) will remember this shame – hahaha.
The gig ended around midnight, we were very tired and just went back to the house of our host (Zozo, thanks for the hospitality brother) to have sleep before the big day.

The next day after just few hours of sleep we went to the gig place in the very early afternoon. The location was chosen smartly, gig venue was in a kind of a warehouse building with few big halls inside. The building was surrounded by other similar ones, totally invisible for the eyes of ZOG and their puppets from police. After a check from the security guards of the gig, we entered the hall and around 16.30 the kick off was given by a ballad performance of the singer of Kolovrat.

I have waited to hear this for years!!! Being a Slavonic language speaking guy, I have listen Kolovrat since their very first years and I can tell you comrades this band is a legend not only for me, but for whole Bulgaria and East Europe as well. The set was sadly very short due to the delay of the gig, and even the second ballad player (Stivie from Section 88) didn’t appear at all. So the second band was Vendetta from Hungary. They played about an hour for the pleasure of the local Hungarian fans. They were followed by Unit 28, a young band from England which played some own songs as well as Skrewdriver covers, but to be honest this band didn’t impressed me too much, they need to practice much more to reach good level. Guarda de Honra from Portugal was announced on the gig flayer but they didn’t even come to Budapest due to some personal obligations of the singer.

So after a short break in which I bought some T-shirts and cd’s from the hall where all the tables with stuff were located the gig continued with Germany finest Hate core band Moshpit. Someone from the crowed told me… “ Ohh Moshpit will play, it will be a massacre” and he was god damn right. “Die Jungs” showed no mercy and made excellent show, really power rampant wave of “hate fucking core” which made the crowd slamming like mental bastards in front of the stage!!! Well done by the lads, and top of the cream for the HC fans!!!

Next band in the schedule was Faustrecht - the band an old school cunt like me was waiting for…. And they didn’t disappoint me. I can describe their show just like – totally professional and full of passion and energy. For me they were the very TOP BAND of the night. Hail to you lads – because of bands like yours skinhead Rock’n’roll is still alive!!! I had a short conversation with Michi – their bass player right before the gig, asking for a repress copy of their greatest album “Klassenkampf”. He just let me know that if I need this cd I must ask… their local police department which raided comrade’s house and confiscated all the cd’s. That’s how “democratic authorities” in Germany are dealing with the so called freedom of speech.

Next two bands were local – Voice of Justice (I heard them previous night) and veterans from Archivum. I was already very tired ( it was around midnight), and just went outside gig hall for some fresh air, beer and talk to comrades from all across Europe, some of which were already fallen from the battle with alcohol( hahaha), and had a nap on the ground around the gig hall. I went back to see the performance of Ultima Frontiera from Italy and I like it so much, it was a class one. They were supported by around 100 Italians which made a warm atmosphere during their set, dancing and hailing on every of their songs. Bellissimo ragazzi!!!

After more then hour, they were replaced on stage by Kolovrat, this time with a full line up for their rock set. The band played set of 25 songs both old and new, a lot of covers (Skrewdriver, Landser, Brutal attack, etc.) in few languages – German, English and even Czech, for the pleasure of the lads from “Narodny otpor”. Very passionate performance by the Russian band, but I think they need more live gigs to improve their sound, so it can sound so great like in studio. And when it was almost five o’clock at morning and 90 % of the people were gone home, the last band of this WP music marathon took their place on stage. Feher Torveny rocked the small crowed of security guards of the gig like they were rocking for 1000 fans. What an awesome band, what an awesome performance… even it was almost morning and didn’t have any strength left I hailed their music sitting on a chair near by the stage – hahaha. It was a perfect end of this great concert. For sure it will be a night to remember for all those 500-600 man and woman who came from almost every white European country. Hail to all of you, all the bands that performed on this 14 HOURS GIG!!! Special thanks to Norbert for inviting so many great bands, to Spanish, French, Dutch, Russian, Croatian, Magyar comrades for the great time we spend together. And at last but not the least to Lena and Anton for the photos. Hope to see you all very soon. Hail Europe of the Fatherlands!!!
