A common question to start, when and why did you form the band? Did you start from zero, without musical experience?

The idea to form a band is going back to 2005. We always wanted to do some music. The kind of music we would like to hear for ourselves and is done from skins for skins. And then in the end of 2010, finally after talking for far too long about it, we started with the band. The guitar player and me have been the main forces behind the idea to form a band, then we found a talented drummer, who was playing and still is playing in other bands like white rebel boys as well. Also our bass guitar player is playing in other bands. The 2^nd guitar player was touring through the countryside as a ballad guru. So, the 2 guys who started the idea to form this band are the only newbie’s in music. 

We live in a world where all is clasified, how must we define your musical style? Any concrete influence?

We play melodic modern RAC, with a lot of classic Oi influence and also a bit from old school hardcore bands. Ok, it’s easy to say that about yourself, but I hope it does fit to our band. We absolutely don’t have any influence from any kind of metal. I’m really pissed of by all those new German RAC bands with their wannabe innovative metal influence, every 2^nd new band is imitating Stahlgewitter. We see ourselves more in the tradition of bands like Triebtäter, Mistreat, Faustrecht and Nordic Thunder. Aggressive music to sing-along and move your feet.

What can you tell us about the line up? You can add all details you want.

We are 5 guys, who are all from different towns in the Chemnitz area in Saxony. There is Rommel at the 2^nd guitar, he is a hairy nightmare for every weight watcher programme. Mighty “Grumpy” J is the guitar player, he is a living tattoo model as he is full with ink from head to toe. Prince Reberick is playing the drums, he is our best musician and a sensitive cook with a heart for asparagus(makes his pee smell like hell J). Tiny MC is our bass guitar hero, he is thirsty, big and a real lady-killer, as he is working in a factory for tampons. And then there is me, Mister NNNN, I’m the singer of the band, and I like sports, comedy’s and crisps with cheese flavourJ. We are a 100% Skinhead band, angry, loud and proud.

I know you use internet everyday, what's your personal opinion about pages as facebook, myspace....? Have you thought to create a web for band?

It’s very useful if you are a single man and you need some “contact” hahaha. But you have to be very carefully, as the political enemy and the police is watching every step you take there. A website would be a nice idea to push the band a bit forward, but we are all too lazy to do the work for it. Maybe later after some recordings…

Is ready the band to record a full length CD?

I hope that we could release a CD through this year. Actually we are just waiting for our drummer to come back to our area. He is working till July near the French border (for all those geographical dumbo´s, that’s the other side of GermanyJ), and we wont record anything till he is back. But the songs are done and are just waiting to get recorded. We are counting the minutes till we could enter the studio.

What's the topics you talk in your songs and where does inspiration for your lyrics come from? Are you working in songs in English language?

We have songs in German and English too. The most songs are about the problems of  the white men of today. And we also like to put a finger in open wounds. That’s the reason for our song “Churchill was a queer”, their still some guys in the movement who think he was right, strange or? Some songs are a bit more political then others like “Liebe dein Land(Love your country)” or “Light vs. darkness”, and some are just about things that could happen in the life of a Skinhead, like ”Alcohol caused violence”. So you could say that life and the problems you may get are the biggest inspirations for us.

Your band name means 'forbidden',  are there too much things 'verboten' in your country?

When we are talking about the national resistance in Germany, then nearly everything is Verboten. Don’t try to found a club with your friends, it will be forbidden after 2 weeks. You need a very good and expensive lawyer when you are in band, because your music mind be forbidden. Check the internet for news about memorial march’s every day, because it could be forbidden from one minute to another. Don’t say something positive about the time from 33-45 in public, because it’s forbidden to say that. Don’t whisper the Horst Wessel song, because even the rhythm of the song is forbidden. I could go on for hours…The weird thing about this situation is, that the common German men doesn’t care about the loss of freedom of speeches as long as they have their TV and could go to holiday every year.

So you could say we choose the name because nearly everything, our thoughts, our clothes, our music, is “Verboten”. And beside that, it’s an easy German name to remember hahaha

What's your opinion about the young Skinhead Beat label which have been very active?

I don’t know them, but I think it’s a non political label for non political bands. And I think we would declare ourselves as a political Skinhead band. Victory or Valhalla! I could accept skins who don’t share our views to 100%, but I don’t like those people who seem to accept every scum on this earth on their side just because of a crop. I haven’t become a Skin to be everybody’s darling. And if a black man I has written skinhead with dry poo-poo on his forehead doesn’t mean that he is a Skinhead J.

What's your personal opinion about the metamorphosis which skinhead movement is suffering in last years in different fronts like music or aesthetic (clothes, streetwear,...)?

At first I have to say that I’m a classic skinhead in boots and braces, and I love this way of dressing. I really don’t like this fashion companies like Thor Steinar (now owned by an Arab). Maybe they did things for our movement at the beginning of their company’s history, but then the profit was coming and the cause left. Sometimes you have to dress a bit more casual as our clothes are forbidden at the most demonstrations here in our land. But the most people who say that they can’t dress like a Skinhead anymore just don’t want to dress like a Skin anymore (Byrd’s prefer sneakers etc.). Ok, if I would fly down to your country I would also take some shorts with me as jeans and boots make you sweat like a pig when it’s 30°C outside, but that’s another story J.What I want to say, if you call yourself Skinhead, then you also have to dress like a Skinhead. Music is another story too, I like a lot of different styles, from hardcore to punk, RAC and Metalcore. But the new so called opening to “NS Hip hop” is like a punch in the face for every old school guy like me. There isn’t any space for stuff like that shit in our scene. So at all you could say, that there isn’t the real way to dress or the real Skinhead music, there are a couple of real ways (who are in borders). But of you lose the way out of your sight you have gone too far.

Advise me some new bands from German scene, with records or not.

That’s a really hard question, as there are new German bands out there twice a week, to make it a bit easier I will just talk about bands from my area. A new band from our area (and our drummer is their bass player) is “Overdressed”, a punk influenced RAC band. They have done a demo CD now. “Ohne Worte” is a young skin band from here and I think they are also going to the studio soon. Another new band from one of my friends is from Cottbus(not really my area, but he is a friend hahaha), “Hausmannkost”, classic RAC with a couple of songs on different compilations. “Sachsenblut” (and our Bass player is theirs as well) is a new RAC band from our area as well and they are on different compilations. As your magazine is called “Skinhead Magazine“ I just advised you bands with Skinhead members, and a lot of newer German RAC bands don’t have Skins in their bands line-up. So one of those new bands from here is “Sturmkrieger” with a demo CD out on PC Records.

Concerts, have you played anyone? What was the last concert you went as crowd?

We just played 4 gigs till April 2012, mostly small ones with a party character. All have been in our part of Germany and we played with bands like Last Riot, Old Glory, Punkfront, The Granits, Sturmkrieger, Ostfront and more. One gig was stopped by the police before the gig started. The last gig I have visited as a guest was the Brutal Attack, Mistreat and 4 Aces gig in London in the end of January. I’ve a little baby at home so it’s hard to go out for me these days.

Talking about the last..., tell me the last....

-book you read- The last book I’ve finished with reading was “Mit Westland im Osten”, a book about SS Soldier Fritz Hahl. Right now I’m reading the biography about the Apple Founder Steve Jobs(till now I could say that he was a bloody asshole). It was a gift from my mother, so I’ve to read it hahaha.

 -time you went to police station – Last year, but they have been visiting me last week at home, nice guest…

 -time you visited a museum – Last year as well, I’ve visited the “New masters gallery” in Dresden. A well known art museum.

-time you regreted buying a CD- I don’t know as I’m buying just CD´s of bands from which in know the music. But I could tell you the first CD I regretted, “Die Allierten - Ruhm und Ehre”.

This is your first connection with Spanish skins, any words for them? Thanks a million to ask this short interview. Good luck.

In Review: Posol Vlasti

Posol Vlasti or “ Messenger of the Homeland “ are a brand new band of the well known Slovakians from Project Vandal. The cd contains twelve tracks including a ballad all in their native language. It’s very well played rock music, up to the level of mainstream bands. A lot of powerful and singalong tunes like “Este stale lipa stoji” and “Slovanska krv”. In some of the songs, solos and whole leading rhythm reminds me a lot of the legends of Viking Rock – Ultima Thule which is a quite remarkable fact. From what I understand from the common Slavonic words, lyrics deal with topics like national pride, strength and unity plus some historical backgrounds. Sixteen pages booklet with lyrics in Slovakian included. In my opinion the design and contents could be much better, like some band photos plus lyrics translated in English. All in all it is a really good album from a really god musicians!!! At last but not the least, I would like to thank Rado for sending me a copy of this cd.

Nationalists arrested in Italy

On January 24th Italian police performed special raid in Naples, during which 10 activists of Casa Pound Naples were arrested. Nationalists are charged with crimes including illegal storage of weapon and explosives, organization of extremist community, street fighting of political cause in Naples in 2011, violent actions against left-wing activists, using knives and Molotov cocktail.
       At the moment 2 nationalists are detained, 5 of them are under house arrest and 3 others must check every day at police station.
     The operation was performed by Italian police together with Mass Media with an aim to discredit nationalists before regional elections, where members of Casa Pound Italy were going to participate. In spite of all the charges, no weapons and explosives were found during the search. Charges are based only on tapping telephone talks and Italian special units materials collected during investigation of criminal cases of previous years.

Slovenian ISD Memorial 2012

   Hello everyone, it’s time to tell you the story about the fourth ISD Memorial concert our crew attended this fall – the one in mighty Slovenia. On the flayer published at the end of the summer five great bands was announced, so everything seems to be quite promising for the future event. I have never been before in this country, so I was really looking forward the day of my departure. Unfortunately there was no direct flight from Sofia to Ljubljana, so I was forced to go by bus. The journey took approximately 14 hours, so in the very late hours of Thursday I landed in the outskirts of Ljubljana, where two comrades were waiting for me. We had a few beers and a good talk with them, so around 3 a.m. I thought it’s time to go to sleep, but they had other plans for the poor, innocent Bulgarian guest (hahahaha) The party moved in the comrade’s house and lasted until the morning involving wine, Schnaps  and other alcoholic beverages. The conclusion I reached is quite simple - Don’t try to drink with Slovenians, it’s a game you’ll never win J

  Next day passed very quickly, when after a few hours of sleeping and a lunch, on the late afternoon we headed to nearby town of Domazale. We’ve visited the local “Club 88” where comrades from near and afar started to gather. Guys from Bully boys were already there, so I was really happy and honored to shake hands with my good old pen pall Big Ed, which I’ve never met in real life before. Just a while after Ken from Brutal Attack and few lads from the old British guard joined us. We had a few hours of great party with our favourite White Power tunes, laughs, talks and drinks. I became a DJ for the part of the night, playing mostly Eastern European RAC tracks in favour of the huge Polish crowd in the pub which singalong the classics of their native bands such as Konkwista 88 and Honor. I believe all of us had a great time this eve, which for me ended around midnight, trying to stay sober in order to keep strength for the day of the gig.

On Saturday I packed my stuff and moved to a nice looking hotel, which I shared with our constant gig reporter (which came from France) and two of the bands which was supposed to play – Bully Boys and Blackout. After a delicious meal and few beers we headed to a city near by Italian border where the gig venue was. It was a nice looking night club plus a huge tent next to it, when all the merchandise tables were placed. Doors were opened at 6.00 p.m. and people started to gather in the next hour and a half. Unfortunately on the very same day there was another big gig (European Hammerfest in Switzerland) so the total amount of attenders was not that many as expected.

The first band of the night was Blackout from Wales. They’ve opened the gig with I think their best song so far “Mental Welsh Bastard” followed by some songs of their second cd, which was released this summer. They played a brilliant set playing some more songs from their first cd “Spirit of the warrior” plus the obligatory Skrewdriver covers. What I found interesting is that they’ve played covers of ballad tunes such as “The snow fell” and “Ode to a dying people” (by RA.HO.WA.) but in full electric version which sounded quite interesting. The crowd really enjoyed their performance dancing and hailing all over the place.

Blackout was followed by the most famous band from the East – Kolovrat. They started with a few songs in Russian like “Two Brothers”, “Music of the streets” and “Anti Antifa” followed by a huge amount of covers such as “Narodovy Socjalizm” by Honor, “Legion Blanche” by Legion 88, “Tales of Glory” by Brutal Attack, for which Ken joined them on stage and many others. During their performance the first problems with the sound system/technician started to happened which sadly continued almost until the end of the gig L.  What I can state as a minus is that their set lasted a way too long plus they didn’t played more songs on their native tongue, but preferred to count on covers, I believe to satisfy the large international crowd which attended the concert.

 After a short break third on the stage appeared Italians from Gesta Bellica. They were supported by a 50 plus people crew of VFS which made an incredible atmosphere singing together as one and dancing on every song. Between the songs they continued with singing like on a football game “Ole, Ole Venetto Skineheads” which once gain showed what strong following Italian bands have even far from home. Band played mostly their own songs from old albums plus covers of “Rivolta” (joined by Gigi from Legitima Offesa) and “Free my Land” (when again Ken took the mic).

Next on the schedule was long awaited legendary American band – Bully boys. Unfortunately the previous motioned problems with sound system reached its climax during their performance. This made their singer Scott really pissed, and I believe this was the main reason for the not so good performance of the band. So just for the record they played mix of both old and new songs such as “Jigrun” , “The hero was born”, “Hard times, hard measures” and of course “Superstar” as a last song of the set. To be honest most of the attenders was disappointed of their performance, as I believe the band members themselves.

The last band of the night was German veterans from Sturmtrupp. These three piece RAC bands really rocked the stage for the delight of the presenting German comrades. They played singalong tunes such as “Sturmtrupp 88” as an opener, “Der Letzten patrioten” plus some songs of their last cd entited "Unter Fiendlicher Attacke"

So around 3.30 a.m. the gig came to its’s end. We had a last beer and say “Good bye” to our friends, both old and new and returned back to hotel in Domzale to have some sleep after this long and exacting day.

On the next morning I had a breakfast with guys from Bully Boys, sharing opinions and laughing on some funny moments from the previous nigh. Then at early afternoon sadly it was time to go back to my Fatherland. I had one of the best weekends of my life meeting old comrades and making new friends from near and afar. I would like to thank all the boys and girls from 28 Slovenia for the perfect organization of the whole event especially to Rok for arranging my stay there and Matija for the great hospitality. For all you guys who are reading this report I can honestly highly recommend to visit a gig in Slovenia!!! This is land of the beautiful ladies, strong beer and at last, but not the least the home of one of the best (if not THE BEST) Blood and Honour Divisions in Europe!!! Slovenia, I’ll be back!!!

Italian ISD Memorial 2012

      In the beginning of October was the date for the Italian ISD Memorial for 2012, organized by "VFS". It was my third ISD Memorial for the last few weeks, after France and England. Honestly I was very tired and not so exiting for that travel, but I did it, as I know well that Italy is always a very good destination for RAC concerts.

    Friday evening, right after work, we started our trip to the beautiful Italian city Genova. After around 4 hours by car, we arrived at the place right before midnight. Our friends from the Italian hatecore band "Still Burning Youth" was waiting for us, we went to very nice pub and there our weekend has started.

   After couple of beers, a lot of laughing and chat with our mates, around 3 morning we took again the cars to went to sleep.

   Saturday morning-big hangover: D. It was really hard to go out of the bed. All of us take fast shower, breakfast and we prepare us for the second part of our travel. On the route other comrades join us and after few hours of driving we arrived to the  gig area.

   It was very big open air place. Big stage, little bar next to it, enough parking place for the cars. As it was the late afternoon we had enough time to take a little break and install our table with BH "Hexagone" productions. We  had  a few beers and a  lovely dinner right after which  the concert started.

   First band for the evening was Italians from "Acciaio Vincente". The band played their songs from their first album "Professionalisti dell'Odio" (2011). Good performance, it was my first time I hear the band and I like it. Good dynamic music, the singer has a great voice.

   Second was "Linea Ostile". They played some covers as "Peggior Amico". The style of the band is classic Italian "OI" and that was the reason I liked their presentation. Unfortunately they didn’t record a cd yet, but hopefully they’ll do this in the near future, because it’s really good band.

   Right after them, after little pause on the stage come the long awaited "Gesta Bellica"! I was very exited to hear that band. It was my first time ever to listen "Gesta Bellica" at life, as I’ve miss them when they played year or two ago in my Fatherland Bulgaria. So the guys have couple of cd-s, those I know are " Usque ad inferos", "Interum rudit leo", "Ius primae lineae" and others. They played songs from their repertoire as "Voglio", "Ritorno a Camelot" and "No pasaran". They finished their set with "Skrewdriver" cover together with Ken /Brutal Attack/.

Gesta Bellica

   Last on the stage come the British monsters from "Brutal Attack". I don’t think it’s necessary to present the band, as they are "living legends" and even the kids know " In your eyes" and "Odin`s daughter". I saw them two weeks ago in ISD Memorial in England. The guys share members with the famous French RAC band "Frakass" /close and good friends of mine/. I’m not pretty sure with which song they’ve started, i`m not even sure which songs they played exactly, because it was already too late and I’ve drank many beers (hahahaha). For sure they played "Embers of yesterday" and my very favorite "Rock against communism". Their performance was on the top! Ken was in euphoria, he left the microphone and he jumped over the guys who were slamming below the stage. Michel /guitar/ broke two strings of his guitar, all the members of the band was very exited, which made the crowd exited as well…it’s hard to put in words the atmosphere we felt out there, but it was really cool! Real R.A.C.!!! Thanks to Ken and his crew for that! Here I want to share my personal opinion about Ken. I really believe that when he’s singing he feel and he live with his music. For him there is no matter if he play in front 3000 people or in front 20. He just...enjoys the party and his music from the bottom of his heart!

   This great evening didn’t finish with the concert. All the guests together with the bands went on a party. I had the chance to have a few beers with my French and Italian mates and the guys from "Brutal Attack". Thanks to David /Blakey/ for the interesting stories he told me about Ian Stuart and "Skrewdriver". Thanks to Ken and all the bands that played for us and made this evening magic, to VFS for that great concert and special thanks to Alberto for his hospitality and everything he did for us and our travel.

   From all that I saw in the last few weeks, from all the trips to the ISD Memorial concerts, all the new friends I’ve met and all new places I’ve visited I’m really happy to see that the people didn’t forget what Ian Stuart Donaldson created for us and his spirit lives in our hearts.  Ian Stuart R.I.P.!!!
