Leader of Combat 18 Russia testified against 2 Russian POWs -  Nikita Tikhonov and Evgeniya Khasis, who are charged with murder of a Jewish antifashist lawyer Markelov in January 2009.

Sergey Golubev

Due to his evidence POWs are going to be sentenced to maximum time in prison. Leader of C18 Russia came to police voluntarily and gave evidence against nationalists and repeated it in court. He is voluntary informer. Sergey Golubev - is a member of POW center. During 2 years he stolen money collected for POWs. Leader of C18 Russia is a member of the band TNF (vocalist). In April 2010 from B&H/C18 Russia announced that Combat 18 Russia doesn’t exist, fearing the repressions of the police. But in fact 318 Russia continues to exist, but they didn’t help movement. Leader of 318 Sergey gave evidence in the court and released audio-announcement where he accused POW of collaboration with the police and so justified his shameful deed.

Nicky Richards Interview

Hello Nick!!! Thanks for agreeing to do this interview! How and when you got involved in British skinhead scene?

I first became a skinhead in September 1980 - 31 years now, a very long time.

What was the spirit of those times with no stuff of today like cell-phones, internet, mp3?

In those times 80s early 90s everything was done by word of mouth or telephone or you joined the National Front or the British Movement and you got sent a newsletter or went to the pub there were lots of skinhead pubs in those days in London that’s why reds used to go to skinhead pubs and try and find out about the gigs.

What it was like to be a rebellious teenager in the 80’s?

In the 1980s was better than it is now teenagers don’t rebel no more like we did or question things like we did they just smoke dope and listen to nigger music now and don’t rebel against the system their idea to rebel is to smoke dope and worship nigger rap stars they have no pride in their race or culture. In the 1980s we were angrier as there were no jobs for the young, no money, all the niggers and pakis were getting everything every time they rioted and white kids got nothing punk and Oi! was our only voice. Life was much easier then.

How and when did you first meet Ian Stuart?

I first met Ian Stuart at the “Last resort” skinhead shop in October 1982 as there used to be a pic of him in the shop the first thing I spoke to him about was the “Sex pistols” and punk he asked me to come to Skrewdriver’s first comeback gig that night at the “100 Club” which you can get on DVD so I went with Ian Stuart to the “100 Club” I got in for free as a guest it was a comradeship that lasted till his death.

From 1984 to 1987 a yearly Open Air festivals in Suffolk were held. What are your striking memories from those gigs? The venue of the gig was owned by relatives of BNP’s leader Nick Griffin if I’m correct.

By 1984 Skrewdriver were a big part of the skinhead scene in England and not only England, but Europe, Austrlia, New Zeland and the U.S.A. and Canada. They had made 4 singles and one LP by 1984 the R.A.C. fests in Suffolk there was an idea to bring all the bands in England together. The first one had 6 bands, the second in 1985 had 7 bands, the 3rd - 8 bands, the 4th 5 bands which I did not go to due to illness it was a good chance to hear all the different bands and their style of music but Skrewdriver was always number one and Brutal Attack number two and to meet and talk to so many skinheads from all over Europe the farm was owned by Nick Griffin’s dad Edgar and was something to look forward to each year well for four years in a row.

As far as I know Ian didn’t follow any football team, but in an interview he mentioned that his favorite football player is George Best (Man United and Northern Ireland). On the other side he had friends from Chelsea Headhunters hooligans. So do you know which team he supported?

Ian didn’t really support any football team, as he had friends in the Chelsea Headhunters, West Ham and Millwall. I didn’t know he liked George Best, but I guess as he came from Blackpool near Manchester that made sense. So no he was for everyone as he wanted the football gangs to unite and fight ZOG.

Did you have the chance to travel abroad with Ian and the band? How he was accepted by the comrades outside Britain?

I went to Holland once with Ian SStuart 1984 for a ‘Free Rudolf Hess” march we were in a bar the reds tried to storm a bar. They went in but got beaten back by the skinheads and ran from us the march was good and Skrewdriver played one of their first gigs in Europe.

Ian was well known with his sense of humor. Can you tell us any funny story, anecdote or weird story you had with him?

Yes, Ian had a good sense of humour which sadly wasn’t so much after he went to jail if he knew you had given you a nickname mine was “Fat arse” and mine for him was bully boy Getting drunk with Ian was fun, one time someone put a brick through a shop window and we all had to run as we heard a cop car.

Did you attend the infamous Waterloo gig in 1992? What are your memories from the street battles before the event?

Yes I did go to the Waterloo gig but we didn’t make it to the gig as the police locked us in the underground station and we went home we didn’t see one red, not one! We were not alone 500 other skinheads didn’t make it ether.

Do you remember the last time you saw Ian Stuart alive?

The last time I saw Ian Stuart alive was in 1991 was at a gig in Stoke. See the pics on my wall at Facebook.

Do you recall how and when you were informed about the death of Ian Stuart? What was your reaction? Do you believe it was a car accident?

I was living with my ex girlfriend Mandy in London she came home from work and told me Ian Stuart was dead. I didn’t believe it at first Pete from No Remorse had told her I was sad I did cry he was a good friend. A few days later I was in my mom’s car and I saw him in the back seat he looked at me and said he was OK and to carry on I didn’t believe in ghosts up to then but I do now and I’ve had dreams about Ian he said me and my present girlfriend Louise should be together. I wanted to go to his funeral but it was family only, a sad day. Ian’s death wil remain a mystery and we will perhaps not ever learn the truth. Or maybe one day…

Any idea what happened with Ian’s fiancée Diane after his death? Did she get a family and children afterwards?

I don’t know, she is Stiiger’s sister you know. I guess she has a life out there I hope.

What happened in the years after ISD passed away? What were the main reasons for the split in the movement? Your opinion on C18?

Well after Ian’s death a lot of faces just went and have never been seen again. Ian was the force which held the Blood and Honour and skinhead scene together you could see who was true and who was fake. Combat 18 was to blame for the split I hated Combat 18 and what they did as it costed a good comrade (Chris Castle) his life. I just stayed loyal to the British movement in the 5 years C18 ran the scene the cancer of C18 is still there as you have a certain group telling folk what to do and think and if you speak out they will attack you if you stand up to them well they can get on with it if that’s what everyone wants that’s up to them, not me. Combat 18 was a state run set-up i.e. Scotland Yard, MI 5, a honey-trap which backfired big time the EDL are the new C18 .

Nowadays movement in England is mostly by old skins. What is the reason for this? Do you accept youngsters in your ranks?

Nowdays kids don’t want to be skinheads any more they just wanna be wiggers (white niggers) they’ll rather join the EDL who are the only group now who can get white kids out on the streets to fight back they don’t want to listen to all us old farts as all we do is fight each other still the C18 cancer is still here one day we willl be united. You do get young skinheads at B&H gigs which is good I’m happy now Blood and Honour is still here but there is more to it than going to gigs and buying cd’s. we don’t have a leader any more to hold things together we have wannabees who try and push you around one day we will have true unity.

There are few books dedicated to ISD, which one of them is your favourite? I think “Nazi Rock star” is most informative and well written…will you agree with my opinion?

“Nazi rock star” as I helped on the book with the pics. I like all the books but “Nazi rock star” is the best.

You are one of the few who still woks hard to preserve the legacy of Ian Stuart and Skrewdriver. How many unseen ISD/Skrewdriver photos do you still have in your collection? Why do you publish them (in Internet) after so many years?

I keep Ian’s dream alive and ideas as he made such an impact on me he is my Adolf Hitler, Oswald Mosley George L. RRockwell for my generation. I’m funding pics of Ian all the time there are lots more to come, I’ll keep going tilll I die keeping his legacy alive. I have about 300 photos or more I publish so every one who is true worldwide can enjoy them and understand what it was all about.

Good old times are over now! How a fourty plus years old skinhead fits to “modern” society in England? Do you feel isolated because of your beliefs and way of life?

Yes, the good old days have gone in England now, but skinheads are big in Germany still so Ian did make his mark in Germany and Eastern Europe. I myself do fit into modern society I can do more things now as a skinhead than I could 20 years ago as no one takes any notice of skinheads now as they are drugged up with TV and other garbage the system feeds them do I feel isolated yes and no I miss my comrades who I could talk to face to face but thanks to facebook I can talk to them here. My beliefs are more understandable now thanks to the BNP as some of our folk are wakening up at last. Skinhead is my way of life tilll death now.

Andreas J. Voigt Interview

Hello Andreas! Please introduce yourself to our readers.

 I greet you and your readers and thank you for this opportunity to address them. My name is Andreas J. Voigt, I am a freelance writer and nationalist book author from Stuttgart, Germany, although I have been living in our capital Berlin since 1998. At present I lead the semi-secret society “Deutschherrenklub” along with its think tank “IZAN” (Institut für Zeitgeschichte, Agitation & Nationalpatriotismus). I was an officer of the German Military Special Forces for four years, and I spent four years behind German bars because of my political beliefs and the actions associated with them, which are considered “criminal” in this post-war republic which occupies my beloved German Fatherland.

 Couple of weeks ago you have uploaded unseen videos of ballad gig of Ian Stuart in Germany. Please tell us more about this event and how it was organized?

 On the 22nd of May in 1993 my organisation, the “Kreuzritter für Deutschland” (Crusaders for Germany) organized a musical barbeque in the “Heimerdinger Forest” close to Eberdingen by Stuttgart. Once again we wanted to use this event to unite skinheads with hooligans with patriotic students with nationalistic comrades and so on from our State of Baden Württemberg—one of the main objectives of the Kreuzritter in a time, where various patriotic tendencies within the szene led to more quarrel than to a much needed solidarity. I had invited Ian Stuart to come, but not really awaiting him to fly over for a steak and some great German beer and wine. To my surprise, he landed in Germany, Alexander from the German section of Skrewdriver Services (later he played in the bands Noie Werte and Ultima Ratio) picked him up and brought him along. After a short greeting, he told me he had brought along his guitar, he asked, if he could play a few songs for the many guests from Germany, France, Scotland, USA, Croatia and so on—an offer, I gladly accepted. It became one of the most personal and intimate gigs I have ever witnessed an incomparable, unique experience for all who had the great luck to attend.

You had the chance to know Ian Stuart on personal level. What were your striking memories of him?

Ian Stuart was a man of calm and soft-spoken words, never loud, never superficial, always patient in giving answers, even though he felt very uncomfortable at times with a crowd around him and he despised any type of personal idolization. Only through his music you saw and heard the fire in his heart and the purity of his ideology. Even visiting me at home, he hardly managed to ask for tee instead of coffee—a man of politeness and modesty.

What is the reason the videos to appear so long after this event?

 Well, the reason is, I had everything on VHS, and the video was damaged severely in the years past. Finally last year I found an expert who was willing to clean up the tapes as far as possible, convert them and burn the material on DVDs—an expensive task, but I am more than glad that it was successful.

Some words about the"Kreuzritter für Deutschland” organization? What were its main activities in the 90’s? Does it still exist nowadays?

 Unity, Solidarity and political agitation were our goals—the love to our Fatherland was our dutiful commitment. Towards the end we had a few hundred members in Stuttgart and Berlin and a women’s section. 1993 German secret services placed an undercover agent in our midst, although he could never proof any type of criminal behavior. He was exposed on the 1st of December 1993, questioned harshly by some of us and banned from Stuttgart. On the 2nd of December 1993 the apartments of those involved were stormed by SEKs (SWAT teams), my deputy, my security chief and I were arrested and incarcerated. At court I took the complete “guilt” upon myself, I was convicted to 6 years of prison for allegedly torturing, kidnapping and sending the federal agent to the Foreign Legion office in Marseille, my collaborators’ sentences were suspended. In midst of 1994 the organization was disbanded, although various organizations used the term “Kreuzritter” afterwards and nourished fittingly on our experiences.

 Did you attend/or organize some of the other ISD/Skrewdriver gigs in Germany in those years? What was the reason of so many gigs in Stuttgart area?

Yes, I attended and organized various concerts, not just for Ian or Skrewdriver. Especially the Skrewdriver concert on the 10th of July 1993 in Waiblingen by Stuttgart on behalf of the second anniversary of the “Kreuzritter für Deutschland” with up to 1500 visitors, not knowing at this time, that this would be Ian’s last gig before his tragic death.

 What was the story around the events in Cottbus in 1991? What was the support given to the imprisoned “Cottbus six” in their 3 mounts stay in German prisons?

 The rumors were probably more dramatic than the dealings, but I am sure, others can give better and more founded information about the true sequence of events. Of course everyone within the national scene heard of the “Cottbuser sechs/Cottbus six” and were shocked, angry and defiant against leftist media coverage, also we took part in the concerts that showed solidarity and support.

 Why you have copyrighted both the videos and photos from this ballad gig?

 These videos and photos are my personal property and it is my wish, that they may not be misused—the context is important, and I would like to control that. It has become preposterous how “comrades“ just copy and use anything they find in the Internet without having the natural decency of asking for permission. I have seen some of my pictures used for selling CDs, DVDs and so on. I know those, who produced them. They earn very much money, and that is definitely legitimate, but if they want to use copyrighted material, then they should just ASK. I must say though, when I write them, they understand and accept my objections. They always send me a free copy of whatever it is, because I turn down offers of payment. This week, for example, I received “Skrewdriver Video Tour Compilation(1977-1993)”, it now makes me happy to see one of my pictures on the cover and even more seeing Ian Stuart do that, what he does best—making and playing great music!

Talking about copyrights, what happened with the sales of Skrewdriver albums after Ian’s death? Did Herbert Egoldt (owner of Rock-o-Rama records) send some loyalties to Ian’s family?

 Those are internal matters, that can only be answered by those involved. I can and will not judge the rumors.

Have you ever been in England for a Skrewdriver gig? Did you ever meet German war veteran Magnus Waggeg who was in touch with the English Skinhead scene?

 Yes, I have been to England, but never for a Skrewdriver gig—to my great regret. Magnus was well known and honored of course, but we never had personal contact.

 Do you recall how and when you were informed about the death of Ian Stuart, what was your reaction? Do you believe it was a car accident?

 I was in the “notorious” KOLBSTUBE, a pub in Stuttgart for nationalists of all persuasions, having fun and beer with members of the “Kreuzritter”, it was Friday evening, the music was loud and our hearts glee. Alexander from Skrewdriver Services came in, his face was pale. He walked straight to me and asked, if we could speak privately. He told me what had occured, he himself hardly able to manage the tragic news. After collecting myself I ordered the music turned off, the pub was now quite, I faced the guests and told them, what had happened—it took days until we finally realized that it was true and that we had lost a great icon of the nationalist music scene...and some of us lost a true friend...

Dropping out the “Skrewdriver” subject, let’s focus on the other matters. Except a political activist you are also a writer. Provide us a brief presentation of your books “Der Letze patriot” and “Der Nationale Doppelroman”? Have you been influenced by the writings of Dr. William Pearce (a.k.a. Andrew MacDonald) or heroism of Robert Jay Mathews and The Order?

 „Der letzte Patriot“ is my debut novel. Strongly autobiographical, the political thriller was published in German in 2005 by publishing house Neuteutonia and has been very successful since, but also quite disputet in the leftist majority society of Germany. The title, which is translated as "The last Patriot", refers to the politically complicated and frustrating struggle of a German Patriot in the post-war Zeitgeist of the modern Federal Republic of Germany. Set in Berlin, Germany, "Der letzte Patriot" is the fictional story of political-activist and German patriot Sven Hardenberg, who leads a neo-national group which rebels against the anti-German sentiment or Germanophobia within and without the German People in modern-day Europe. His adversaries are strong: Bundesnachrichtendienst, Mossad and others seek to kill the novels hero and villain, even in jail he ist not safe, the Germanic Brotherhood and the Moslem Brotherhood are engaged in a life-and-death battle.

The major part of "Der letzte Patriot" is made up of Sven Hardenbergs thoughts, reminiscences and fight for survival while confined in various German Penitentiaries. The authentic writing ist partially racialist, very violent and graphic. Generally, "Der letzte Patriot" touches upon a number of taboo topics not only in the political nationalist arena but also those that can be found in a democratic society at large. My second novel "Aufstand im Weltenbrand" is actually a type of part II and is considered as not suited for readers less than 18 years of age—very bloody, very adventurous, and very political and an ideological basis for the future. As an academic and bibliophilic, I have been influenced ideologically by scores of authors and I had correspondence with Dr. William Pearce for many years, but when it comes to literature, I was influenced by the great German philosophers, especially Nietzsche, Schopenhauer and Hegel, but also by the philosophers of war Clausewitz and von Kleist, but writing fiction, although quite autobiographical, I was influenced by the great novelists James Clavell, Jack Higgins and Hans Hellmut Kirst.

 Next one is little bit personal question. Your family name is Voigt, do you have anything in common with NPD leader Udo Voigt? What is your opinion on NPD in general?

 No, Udo and I just share the same surname. The Voigt (Landvoigt) of the middle ages was the aristocratic right hand to the kingdoms monarch. Many considered the “Voigt” to be more powerful than the sovereign himself. The NPD is a “necessary evil” (ein notwendiges Übel, as we say in Germany—of course more necessary than evil!) within the corrupt and decadent party politics of Germany. For us, there is, at the present, no other party to vote for, and although I disagree with the party system altogether AND with various tendencies within the NPD, I also know many of the members personally and I judge them as honorable and devoted men and women that I would support and back any time, although I will never be a member of a political party.

 Going back to the 90’s, what are your memories from the events in Rostock in August 1992?

 The happenings in Rostock and the activities afterwards have such a complex political and social structure, that a few words or sentences would not be enough to describe their influence upon German internal politics in the later 90’s.

What do you think about following people:

 Ingo Hasselbach: A would-be political leader who failed upon his incompetence and narcissism, an example of pathetic people along history without special abilities who have the right feeling for the weakness of revolutionary times but do not back the goals with all their hearts and minds.

Michael Kühnen: Especially in comparison to Hasselbach a man of great abilities and intellect, but also a man, who at the end had chosen the wrong path on a long, dirty, tiring road of battle and renunciation.

 Kay Diesner:  He had right ideas and beliefs, but probably chose the wrong terms of execution. He was cornered and snapped, although I can understand his frustration and despair, he damaged the national movement as a whole. I am looking forward to his release in about six to eight years, I’m convinced he has matured and has gained wisdom, and I hope to speak with him personally.

Horst Mahler:  I haven’t made up my mind about him yet, not even to this day. A genius and a manic, and I can hardly tell, what side will prevail. You must know his writings and philosophical thoughts, but he will never receive the sympathies of, for example, the late Jürgen Rieger. However, no matter what you think of him, it is an unjust disgrace and a dismantling of the republic that Horst Mahler is being imprisoned only for speaking his mind—probably for life, considering his age.

 Tell us about the time you were running Café “Germania” in Berlin? Why it was closed less then a year after its opening?

 Oh, one of my favorite topics of agitation or excitement—depends on my frame of mind. What is your opinion about the problems between German and Polish nationalist? Do you think about a possible end of this conflict in nearest future?

 There are problems? Yes, of course there are, and I am sure they will stay around for a while, because Poland still holds great parts of The German Empire occupied. Will we overcome? I hope so, and I now many polish comrades, who understand our German situation very well, but many still do not. One day soon, we will all have to stick together to face a mutual enemy at the borders of Europe, but until then, we will just have to make the best of it—and we will!!!

 Your personal view on Islam in Europe, and especially in Germany where you have millions of Turks?

The Enemy of my enemy is my friend? Yes, that is a legitimate political theory, but one thing must be clear, and I tell this to all my Islamic acquaintances when we discus this topic: Moslem races will never rule Germany, not politically and not on the streets, even though they are trying to do so at their utmost. We Germans are a cultural race: understanding, tolerant and patient—often much too enduring, but if cornered we will fight...and will kill...and will prevail victoriously, because we Germans are the lords of war. The Romans, the Huns, Napoleon and so many others underestimated the strong will and the ruthlessness of Germans when they are fighting for chaste survival and existence...let them go back to their countries, where they belong, let us respect each other and even become friends, but they must stop raping our civilization, our women, our nobility, if they do not, it will be their doom!

 Stay true to your beliefs, love your race, cherish your family, secure the future of your children, behold your honor, and no matter what happens, no matter what you are faced with, no matter who or what endangers your way of life, uphold your dignity by all means—than without dignity you are nothing!

 

Day of Honour Breakeout Excursion

12th February, Hungary

The government of Hungary prohibits and will attempt everything to prevent young people to remember ONE of the most heroic undertaking in the II. World War the Breakout! On 11th February 1945 the Hungarian – German allies – encircled by the Bolshevik army – with other units and with a lot of civilians they attempted the Breakout because they were not willing to surrender. True to their principles, military oaths they fought till death showing an example to the world what the oath, honor and given word of a soldier is worth.

Hundreds if young people were scanned, picked out of their cars by the police. Civilians were checked and prescribed for no reason but they couldn’t prevent that many hundreds of people commemorate this heroic action.
Away from Budapest among those hills where those who were successful with the breakout had been shot down en masse by the chasing Bolshevik soldiers, on this sanctified land the memorial service was held.

And then hundreds of them had a 40 km tour in the icy -5 Degrees wind to pay their tribute to the memory of the heroes.

1. Hello Suck, greetings from NS revolt web blog. We should start with the standard question, can you please present briefly the history of Les Vilains?

I come from Brussels and I’m french speaking. I come living in Bruges in 1997. Was not French speaking oi band in Belgium since Fight Action (Brussels) & Justice (Liège) (1986-1988).Our first single “Belgique hooligans” (mini cd + single) coming out in 1998.The first official line up was : Tichke (guitar), Gabber-Tim (bass), Schimmel (drums) & I (Suck) on vocals.With this line up we already make “Vengeance” (mini-cd 1999), who later coming out on a mini-lp (“Trou du cul”) with 5 bonus live songs. The single “Skinhead girl warrior” and the live cd “Hollidays in Donk” coming out in 2000.Olivier bring the place of Gabber-Tim at the bas, and after coming Dieter & Kris in 2000 at the guitars at the place of Tichke.In 2003 we make our first album « Les derniers rebelles ».But, few weeks before to go in studio I smashed the face of Schimmel. Because of that, Nysie bring hes place at the drums. Later Dominator bring this place.In 2005 we make 2 songs for a split single with our german friends of Kampfzone.Few weeks before this single coming out, Olivier is dead.Few time after that, Kris leave the band.We never really look for a new bass player. For the gigs we get support from different friends (Steve – The Pride, Gunther – Lions Pride, Hans – Get Out, Boni – The Veros & Snix).At the drums Sven bring the place of Dominator and Eef come play with Dieter at the guitars.We don’t make a lot of gigs the last years, because Dieter had on his side formed a new band. A band where he write the songs, sing and play the bass: Kill Baby Kill! Sven go play with hem in this band.Teun from Short Cropped coming at the bass.In 2008 coming out an album compilation, with all our singles and contributions to different compilations and tributes. “pour faire chier!” (cd + lp).At the end of 2009 we make a demo for our new album, with songs written between 2005 & 2009. We had the project to go in studio at the beginning of 2010, hélas our friend Dieter is dead the 15th of January.With Eef, Sven and Teun, we decide to make this album. In memory of Dieter, because he writ all music.This album “Skinhead family” came out this summer on Pure Impact record.We can use from our demo the guitar (on “L’homme le plus riche du monde”) and the voice on backing vocals (on “Grosse salope”) from Dieter.It was important for us.

2. Your last album “Skinhead family” was released by Pure Impact records some months ago. Are you satisfied with the quality of recording and your cooperation with the label?

Yes, we are very happy with the album ´Skinhead Family´. Peter from Pure Impact is a really good friend of ours for a long time so we really wanted to bring out this album on his label. He supports the scene since 1984 and is a correct guy.

3. Why do you prefer artworks for the front covers of your cd’s instead of pictures? The covers of last two albums look very similar, did you use same artist for both of them?

I drew the covers of our EP´s, from the mini LP, from ´Pour fair chier` en from ´Skinhead family´myself. I also make the artwork of most of our t-shirts. The drawing from ´Les derniers rebelles´was made by a fan from the USA called Muna. Now he also drew a cover for the latest album of Last Resort.

4. We have chose “Nice boys don’t play RAC and Oi!” for slogan of our blog, which originally was used by Les Vilains. What this motto means for you?

This slogan was inspired by a song from Rose Tattoo (Nice boys don’t play Rock ‘n Roll). We use to say that in the first place we are an Oi! band. But nowadays, most oi bands are afraid to say what they really think. It is easier to make ‘happy Oi! lyrics. without a clear opinion The skinhead scene turns pc more and more.
We don’t really want to send a political message, but we are also not going to sing about things we don’t like. That is the reason people label us as a R.A.C. band
I really don’t care how people label us, we play for ourselves and our friends. You can’t be a nice boy and also be a skinhead!
For a lot of people being a skinhead is only a look and Oi! music. For us, it is a mentality.

5. What is the racial situation in Belgium and in your city Bruges?

The same as in all European countries, there are a lot of foreigners. Most of them are Maroccan and Cogolese (Congo was a colony of Belgium in the past). There are about 10% foreign people in Belgium. But in some cities, like Antwerp and Brussels this goes up to 30% and in some parts of these cities it is about 80%.
This is way to much! Bruges is a nice little city where a big part of the medieval architecture is saved. It is perhaps the most beautiful city of Belgium with, fortunately, not a lot of foreign people.

6. What is your personal opinion on Flemish separatist willing? Do you think Belgium should be divided by political, economical or other reason?

I am a nationalist en I will support my country for a 100%. Belgium exists from 1830, but the name is in use for over 2000 years. It is the oldest name for a region in Europe after Greece!
We speak 3 differtent languages here. Flamish(Dutch with another accent) in Flanders, and French an German in Walloon.
In these days the Flemish site 5North of Belgium) is more rich than the South. A lot of the separatists think that when the country will split up, they have to pay a lot less taxes! That is a disgrace! I have a lot of friend from the Flemish BH. They are advocate for autonomy. I cannot understand this. We are brothers! Should we just dump a brother because he has some temporary financial problems? In the 50s it was the other way around; it was the South that supported the North. At that time, nobody thought about a split up. BH is a symbol of unity, nothing else!
P.S. Bruges is in Flanders, but we are 100% Belgian before anything!


7. Who is Ambiorix you have dedicated a song to? Is there any personality from the Belgian history which deserves a song?

Ambriorix was the chief of a Celt tribe in Belgium (Belgea in that time). He fought against the soldiers of Julius Ceasar. He made a lot of casualties among the Roman legions that invaded his territory. He was never arrested and a perfect symbol of resistance.
After the wars in the Gauls. Julius Caesar said: From all the people in the Gauls (nowadays Switzerland, Belgium, the South of Holland, France and the North of Italy) the Belgian people are the most courageous.
Belgium has a lot of historically important people. My favorites are:
Godefroy De Boullion (XI century): The leader of the first crusade. When Jerusalem was conquered, people want to make him the first Christian King of Jerusalem. He refused and said: I don’t want to have a golden crown, while Jesus wore a crown of thornes.
Charles Martel (VIII century): A lot of people think he is French. But is origin lies in Herstal, from Liege in Walloon. He is associated to French history while he stopped the Muslim invasion in Pottier (South-West of France) en fought for the French king.

8. How many are the active skinhead bands in your country in present?

The Pride, Headcase, Lions Pride, Short Cropped, The Widowmakers, The Agitators, Trouble Ahead, …We are a small country, but we have always been very active in the scene! There are a lot of gigs here. Our country lies in the middle of Germany, the Netherlands, France and England. Because of that, a lot people come to our gigs. Everybody loves the Belgian people, and of course our beers! LOL

9. What do you think about the drugs in skinhead scene?

Personally, I am a 100% against drugs. I don’t need them. But it is true there are a lot of drugs in the skinhead scene. That is nothing new. It has always been like that, both in skinhead- and R.A.C. scene. Some people might think that they need that to solve their problems, to be stronger or just for fun. But at the end of the day; what is the difference between people who can’t go without alcohol and are drunk every weekend? (probably for the same reason as those who do use drugs).

10. You were the owner of infamous “De Kastelein” club? What are your memories from those years? Any funny story or anecdote from the numerous gigs and parties there? What is present situation of this place which now is known as “Moloko bar”?

I started with the Kastelein in 1998. Almost 150 skinhead bands have played there! I have tons of good memories and anecdotes about that time. Through the pub, I met a lot of people and made a lot of friends in many different countries.
I had to sell the bar, because there were too many problems, also with the media. The pub still exists, but with a new name and a new owner. There is still every month an Oi! gig there. The ambiance is also good. I still help them out a lot with the organization of the gigs and also with playing the music. I am now the DJ of the bar! LOL

11. Do you follow football? Which team do you support? What is your opinion on hooliganism?

I am an old supported (1985 – 1993) of RWD Molenbeek (club from Brussels). We were called the Brussels Boys. Dus club doesn’t exist anymore since 2002.Over here, all my friends are Club Bruges FC supporters. I live about 4 km from the stadium. I go to the bar of the Bruges hooligans quit often en some times to the match. I am not a real supporter of this club, more a sympathizer.
The hooliganism was nice in the 80s. At this time there were some codes.
These days, there is a lot of police, too much drugs and a lot of people that only come to fight and don’t support the club.


12. Let’s change the subject to a very sensitive topic…Dieter Samoy (your band member and Kill baby Kill singer) sadly left this world in January 2010 after committing a suicide. How his death affected Les Vilains and whole scene in Belgium?

Dieter wasn’t just a band member, in the first place, he was a good friend. His death hurt us a lot. I knew him for a long time, and the last couple of years we lived in the same house. He wrote a big part of the songs of Les Vilains. I still think about him every day, and the music still effects me the same way. When you are ‘well known’ you have a lot of friends, but also a lot of enemies. Some people are still busy to make his memory a bad one. For those people I want to give two last words from Dieter: FUCK YOU! Rest in peace Dieter.

13. What do you think about following bands:

Glory Boys:
A very good young band, in the genre of Condemned 84. Very friendly people. At a gig in Belgium, I was selling my collection of ep’s to raise some money for the justice department (again). When they heard about that, they gave me a box full of t-shirts and cd’s for me to sell to support me.
I know that in countries like Spain and Italy it is difficult to play non-political Oi!. You always come into trouble with one side or the other, left and right. Those people who think they are SHARP’s, are completely wrong.

Lion’s Pride:
Very good cd. The singer Gunther is very well known in Belgium with his other black metal band: Ancient Rites. He also played his bass 3 gigs with us, after our bass player Olivier passed away in 2005. They are very good musicians, it is just a pity they don’t play so much.

Faustrecht:
One of the best German bands ever. Sometimes people are critical while the are so professional with their merchandising and stuff. I say: finally people who can play good music with intelligent lyrics and a good look. This becomes rare.

Endstufe:
Friends. This band deserves the biggest respect from everyone. Still playing after almost 30 years in the same line of condust. They have so many hits. The last time they played in Belgium (Live & Loud) there were 1000 skinheads!
In the future we want to cover one of their songs in French. Surprise!!

14.What are your future plans, any upcoming gigs or new recordings?

We are busy with a new project that will come out mid 2011. With a lot of covers. We are playing this year in Italy, Spain, Belgium and maybe also Brasil this summer!

15.Thanks a million for the interview!!! Last words are yours. Anything else you would like to add?

Thanks for the good interview. We are an Oi! band. We are no Nazis. If people think we are racists, they confuse racism with nationalism and our working-class mentality. We can not tolerate people having no respect for our country. This has nothing to do with a superiority feeling or something like that. It is just a matter of respect!
